Kenneth, co-founder of CPC Legal, is a highly-experienced cross-border corporate finance lawyer with over 25 years of hands-on practice as a U.S. and international corporate finance lawyer. His expertise spans across several practice areas, including U.S./international capital markets, emerging companies, and venture capital and private equity, with the common theme and mission being, partnering with clients on their unique and ambitious deals – from debt and equity financings to cross-border transactions – and helping to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable strategies.
Throughout his career, Kenneth has provided strategic guidance to issuers and underwriters on equity and debt capital markets transactions, emerging companies (including their founders) on fundraisings, corporate reorganizations, corporate governance and day-to-day legal and operational issues, early-stage investors on their venture capital investments, private investment fund sponsors/managers on fund formations and buyers/sellers in M&A deals.
Kenneth began his career in New York and then gained invaluable cross-border experience in Tokyo (2003-2004), before settling in the international finance center of Hong Kong in 2005. Upon arrival in Hong Kong, Kenneth immediately helped to establish and build up the international capital markets and emerging companies practices of the Hong Kong office of an AmLaw 100 firm. He has successfully executed transactions across the Asia-Pacific region, from India to Japan. His specialized knowledge of securities and companies laws, combined with his extensive network and cross-jurisdictional expertise, positions Kenneth as a leading advisor for clients seeking to navigate the complexities of today's business and financial landscape.
